Senior C++ Developer (Toronto office)
Infinium Capital seeks an experienced and talented Senior C++ Developer, with a proven track record of delivering high quality IT systems and applications within the finance industry. As one of the key members of the team, you will be responsible for design, implementation and support of the new applications and the ongoing support of real-time trading platforms.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have 7-10 yrs of development experience with C++, MFC, STL, SQL, real-time applications, socket programming and multi-threading, and must have the ability to write from scratch and maintain event-driven server applications receiving high-volume data flow. You must possess strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development, and experience working on distributed high transaction systems. Knowledge of Equity and/or Derivatives Trading and experience with Automated Trading Systems would be a significant plus, though candidates will be considered with experience in other areas of finance, as well as candidates who are very strong technically and want to learn about financial systems. Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills required. Candidates should have a strong academic background, with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computational Finance or a similar discipline from a top University.
