We are currently seeking a:
Junior Equity Strategist (Barbados office)
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented team player, who will participate in the development and evaluation of automated equity trading strategies. Responsibilities may include (but are not necessarily limited to):
- Maintaining current trading strategies;
- Identifying and documenting system issues;
- Testing new versions of trading software.
Qualifications:
- University degree with a major in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science;
- Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of trading/financial markets;
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and with minimal guidance;
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal) and a positive, team oriented attitude;
- Experience with MS Excel macros, Visual Basic, MS Access and programming in C++ are a major asset.
